2017 Recruiting Class

The Committed:

JaRaymond Hall 4- Star OT (Oak Park, MI) 6'5"/270 lbs - The Wolverines get a key piece to the next cycle to commit early. The coaching staff will continue to build up the O-line so this should just be the beginning.

Kurt Taylor 3-Star RB (Covington, GA) 5'9"/200 lbs - Looks like a well-built back with a low center of gravity who can run through tacklers. The coaches are very excited about him and fans should be too.

Carter Dunaway 3-Star TE (Bloomfield Hills, MI) 6'6"/225 lbs - Looks like a kid that will be fulfilling a dream to play for the Wolverines, much like his former teammates Alex Malzone and Grant Perry are doing right now, as well as his brother Jack (preferred walk-on). Carter can block and displays nice hands.

Jeremiah Holloman 3-Star WR (Covington, GA) 6'3"/195 lbs - Not highly ranked by any recruiting services and doesn't have as many big plays as most top receiving prospects, but his tape reveals a more than willing and able blocker on the perimeter who has just enough speed to beat a lot of defenders with the ball in his hands.

Benjamin St-Juste 3-Star CB (Montreal, CA) 6'3"/170 lbs - It doesn't look like he will qualify to be a part of the 2016 class and will have to wait another year to join the program. Either way, he could be a real steal out of Canada. I somewhat like the fact that he gets another year to develop his body before stepping foot on campus.

The Recruit Watch List:

Marvin Wilson 5-Star DT (Bellaire, TX) 6'4"/315 lbs - Has been somewhat high on Michigan since meeting the staff at a satellite camp this past summer. Now if they could only get him in for a visit.

Donovan Peoples-Jones 5-Star WR (Detroit, MI) 6'2"/190 lbs - Graded out as the best overall prospect at the Opening in July and is on everybody's watch list. Can Harbaugh and company keep him in-state and out of Ohio State?

Isiah Wilson 5-Star OT (Brooklyn, NY) 6'7"/322 lbs - There might not be a better OL prospect than this kid in the entire country, and he seems to be very high on the Wolverines.

Anthony McFarland Jr 4-Star RB (Hyattsville, MD) 5'9"/181 lbs - A big-play back that is very interested in what Michigan has to offer him.

Jordan Anthony (Bradenton, FL) 6'0"/220 lbs - Is exactly the type of player the coaches want at linebacker.

Drew Singleton LB (Paramus, NJ) 6'2"/215 lbs - Expect the coaching staff to load up on linebackers in the next two cycles. Singleton is one of the prime suspects to eventually commit.

Stanford Samuels CB (Hollywood, FL) 6'2"/175 lbs - Is exactly the type of tall defender the coaches want out on the perimeter.

Cesar Ruiz 4-Star C (Bradenton, FL) 6'4" 290 lbs - There is not a better pure center prospect in the country. He's been high on the Wolverines but every program in the south wants him bad enough too.

Lamont Wade CB (Clairton, PA) 5'10" 185 lbs - There is little doubt that the staff will try to load up on corners this go-around as a few key players at the position will have graduated.

Davis Mills 4-Star QB (Norcross, GA) 6'3"/189 lbs - A passer that can also move with his feet when needed.

Dylan McCaffrey 4-Star QB (Littleton, CO) 6'5"/200 lbs - Harbaugh was one of the first to offer and Michigan remains at the top of his list.

Ambry Thomas 4-Star CB (Detroit, MI) 5'11"/165 lbs - One of the top overall corners on the board is an in-state prospect.

Josh Ross 4-Star LB (West Bloomfield, MI) 6'1"/210 lbs - Another big-time in-state prospect that is high on Michigan. Could a commitment be coming soon?

Corey Malone-Hatcher 4-Star DE/LB (Saint Joseph, MI) 6'3"/246 lbs - Fits the mold of what they are looking for at the "Buck" position.

Jimmy Jaggers 4-Star TE (Roseville, CA) 6'4"/230 lbs - If the Wolverines miss out on a top-tier TE in 2016 he will be a bigger priority than he already is right now.

Jaylen Kelly-Powell 3-Star S (Detroit, MI) 6'0"/183 lbs - In-state product that is a top-tier safety prospect is relatively high on Harbaugh and company.

Matt Dotson 3-Star TE (Cincinnati, OH) 6'5"/225 lbs - Not unlike current Wolverine and Ohio native Jake Butt in regards to all-around skills.

Adarius Lemons 3-Star RB (Clearwater, FL) 6'0"/185 lbs - Seems like an all-purpose-type back to add to the stables.

Clevan Thomas 3-Star WR (Hollywood, FL) 5'10"/185 lbs - Might be able to play corner too, but looks like a solid slot-receiver prospect.

Allen Stritzinger  3-Star ATH (Warren, MI) 6'0" 180 lbs - Played running back in high school but might project more to DB in college.
